Angus Reid Poll: Religious Symbols in the Workplace

Angus Reid Poll carried out in October 2018 among a representative randomized sample of 1500 Canadian adults. The questions relate to public employees, i.e. employees of the state.


The following graph summarizes Canadians’ opinions about various types of religious symbol in the workplace in the public service.


The following graph summarizes Canadians’ opinions, by region, about banning religious symbols worn by public servants in positions of authority, as proposed by the recently elected CAQ government of Quebec.
